I liked his lomo saltado, his ceviche, lousy !!

One of the authentic place.

The last time I went, the ceviche very bad, fish asleep, seemed prepared very early, they do not prepare it instantly. Very bad. If I loved the lomo saltado, the only thing salvageable.

I would have returned it immediately. Nothing worse than bad fish.

Will not come back. I was expecting it to be authentic peruvian food, and it tastes like asian. Very commercial.

I will not come back either, the worst Peruvian quisineI ever tasted

This place is one of only a few Peruvians places in the 626 area. It's a small little gem in the heart of downtown Alhambra off of main street. I would describe the food as a fusion between Italian, Argentinian, Spanish, and a hint of Asian flavors put onto one plate. Honestly, I can't even pronounce any of the dishes but all of the menu items have pictures and I just do the awesome point and ask. The pasta dishes are definitely my favorite. But I do hope to try out their rice dishes next time.

Mancora Peruvian Cuisine is located on a small plaza on Main st and N. 3rd street. As you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere is inviting and indoor/outdoor seats are well organized and evenly spacious albeit limited. Their menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters and main course consisted of their signature Lomo/Pollo Saltado dish. All the food were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. I ordered their Lomo Saltado and Maracuya drink with complimentary bread rolls. Hands down the best Peruvian food. The chefs take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. Staff and owner are professional, attentive, and competent. I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavors. For these reasons I highly recommend going to the Mancora Peruvian.

Very good. Compared to my favorite Peruvian place, I rate this one 9 out of 10. The lomo saltado is delicious. And we just tried the Peruvian chicken with pasta, delicious sauce and well prepared.

I was introduced to this restaurant through friends while visiting from Florida..im driving home and selling my house and moving to Cali so that i can eat from this place every day..1 word amazing! And even though were in a pandemic..rhis owner found a way to make all his patrons feel safe, he went to great extents. Truly a treasure to find such wonderful cooking. I was in town 3 days and ate at both location because i heard the menu differed a bit, i could not pick which one i enjoyed more, if your a visitor its a must, if your a resident..i hate you lol id eat here every day of i could!

Good choice for Peruvian Food. The Aroz con Mariscos was tasted, but my wife's Lomo Saltado was RI-DICULOUS! Really good choice to add variety to your cuisine options.

This place is a nice alternative to Mario's in Los Angeles. There's no wait and it's very low key. We ordered the lomo saltado and the green noodles with steak. I personally really liked the pesto noodles, they were super flavorful. The lomo saltado was a little bit more on the sweeter side which I don't really prefer but with the green sauce that they give it's pretty good. I think place is not bad if you don't want to wait and drive out to Mario's. No complimentary bread though

To be fare I don't know about the food but I know something for sure, customer service is real bad 😬 here, I just called to ask if they had ther dining open and the guy was so rude. I don't even bother going there. When you pay for service you deserve better guys. Find another place please. Alhambra is big and diverse.

Great food and taste. Wish the meat was thicker as it's a flap steak. The seafood sampler is amazing but little pricey. Overall good tasting food.

First time here! I got a dish that is very similar to Spanish paella and I have to say it was pretty delicious, with the seafood broth evenly throughout the rice, shrimp, octopus, etc. I tried their steak with green pasta as well and I thought the steak was medium cooked and very flavorful. This is a tiny hole in the wall spot and very cozy.

Not your typical Peruvian. Flavor was average. Had tallarines verdes with steak and it was good. My husband had their cebiche (how Peruvians spell it) and it was too salty. The prices are way too high for this small restaurant run by one person. All the saltados are served with the fries on the side and not mixed with the meat. They no longer serve Pollo asado since, according to the guy in charge they are opening a new location. The ají was good and the guy kindly gave extra to take home.

So so good. Finally a good Peruvian restaurant in Alhambra. Everything was really fresh and delicious. Location is a little small considering how good it is and many people were waiting for a seat.

Mancora is an amazing place to eat their food is mouth watering because it looks like the picture. The prices are fair because you are paying for the quality and quantity which will leave you craving for more. Service is great and the place just so beautiful. If you have the Alhambra card it makes it worth while to go so definitely go there to try, bring you partner or in-laws I can guarantee that they will leave satisfied and with a good impression of you because you know good food. Enjoy.

Expensive for the quality. I was very satisfied with the portion and quality the first two times I ordered through uber eats. It seems like they pay extra attention to those. Unfortunately, the last few times i was disappointed. I ordered directly through the restaurant and the meat was dry in lomo saltado. Just now, the pescado sudado that I ordered without seafood was charged the same as if did have seafood and was not substituted with even more yuca. So I basically paid the same for half the protein. It wasn't only once I was disappointed and I know sometimes these things happen but clearly they make more effort for orders through the app only because they're really monitored there.

This was a great find for my wife and I. We love Peruvian food, and our normal place is in West Covina now to far from our current home. Food was tasty, and the quality was superb. Seafood was fresh, and the fries in the limo were great. I would recommend this place, and there new location coming soon to East LA.
